My name is Alexander, and I am the founder of this website. I created this platform with a clear purpose: to raise awareness about Go and bring more students into the Go community. My goal is to create free videos on the basics of Go and create tournaments online for students in order to promote its popularity

 

My Story

I’ve been playing Go for the past two years. What started as a simple curiosity quickly became a passion, not just for the game but for the benefits it brings. As a student I have noticed that Go helped me to focus better, think more strategically and procrastinate less. Go is a game that teaches patience, focus and decision making: factors that helped me develop both on and off the board. My goal is to spread awareness about the game as well as about the positive impact it has on your everyday life. 

 

Despite being one of the oldest gales in history, Go still remains widely unknown in the UK, especially among students. Thus, through this website I want to spread awareness about Go and introduce more people, particularly students, to this fascinating game. Whether you are a beginner or already know the basics, I hope you’ll find something here to inspire you to play.
